ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Pakistan has successfully tested its indigenously developed guided multi-launch rocket system with a range of about 249 miles, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the military.
The weapon system Fatah-ll is equiped with cutting-edge avionics, a sophisticated navigation system, and a distinctive flight trajectory having the ability of engaging targets with high precision up to a range of 400 kilometres.
Fatah-ll with 400 KM range impressively increases Pakistan's strike capabilities as compared to Fatah-l with 250 KM range.
The flight test was witnessed by senior officers from tri-services and dedicated scientists and engineers.
Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi with other senior military officials congratulated participants particulary scientists on the successful test flight.
