On the suspicion of human trafficking, a plane full of Indian passengers was stopped at the French airport and two people were detained and the investigation started.

The plane from UAE to Nicaragua landed at Vitri Airport in France to take fuel. Out of the 303 passengers on board the plane, 300 are Indian nationals.

The prosecutor in Paris says that the plane was grounded after an anonymous tip that victims of human trafficking were on board.

Under French law, foreign travelers detained in France can be detained for a minimum of 4 days and, in exceptional circumstances, for a maximum of 26 days.
